A Message from a Mayan Elder
At the beginning of this year, deep in the Yucatán jungle, after visiting my Mayan elder, he told me:
"Andrés, I don’t know how much time I have left on this planet. I want to pass on to you one of the most ancient Mayan fire rituals, and you will share it with others, so they remember...
Remember how to listen to the birds sing.
How to pray to the stars and receive clear guidance.
How to act as a cosmic family in times of human crisis.
At first, I wasn’t sure if I was ready for such responsibility. But as the night fell and the fire was lit, everything became clear. The elder asked the spirits for permission, so I could carry this ritual forward—a reawakening of our direct communication with the cosmos.
