Pranayama is the conscious awareness of breath: the life force that both energizes and relaxes the body. The term is derived from the Sanskrit, prana, meaning "life force" Pranayama is the fourth aspect, or "limb," of the spiritual Ashtanga yoga practice.
The great sage, Patanjali, outlined these limbs as follows:
- Yama (ethical living)
- Niyama (healthy living)
- Asana (the meditative sitting posture, or the more physical yoga poses)
- Pranayama (awareness of one's breath)
- Pratyahara (withdrawing one's mind from the senses)
- Dharana (deep concentration)
- Dhyana (deep meditation)
- Samadhi (enlightenment)
Pranayama consists of four discernible stages:
- Puraka (inhalation)
- Abhyantara kumbhaka (the mindful pause after inhalation)
- Rechaka (exhalation)
- Bahya Kumbhaka (the mindful pause after exhalation)
Each stage of pranayama has the effect of enhancing physical awareness and enforcing introspection; therefore, as a whole, pranayama is integral to the practice of yoga and a key element in the ultimate pursuit of enlightenment.
Satsang is a spiritual discourse or sacred gathering. It is a word which comes from Sanskrit, meaning to associate with true people, or to be in the company of true people.

Satchitananda teaches and initiates in the Truth in his own non-dogmatic way beyond any religion, and not only through a particular spiritual path.
Satchitananda is only Awareness. He is nobody-no-thing. As a relative consent (since there is nobody being born or dying) he was born on 26th of June 1967 in Corinth Greece.
His first spiritual experiences of meditation and Awareness-Brahman-Rigpa, began when he was 5 years old when he didn’t even know what he was actually doing. He wanted always to be in solitude and enjoy the Bliss and Peace he found inside himself and everywhere with closed or even opened eyes. Gradually he became more and more interested in Truth and at 15 years old, started a deep search of religions, philosophy and other paths of Self-Realization and Enlightenment. His studies and practices since 1982 include, among other, various forms of meditations, traditional Yogas (especially Jnana/Gyana Yoga, the Εssence of Non-Duality Teachings), Advaita Vedanta, Dzogchen, Buddhism (including Shambhala Buddhism up to “Golden Key”) all non-sectarian, Esotericism and Gnostic Christianity, both in solitude and as a member of various Traditions, organizations, communities and Esoteric schools. He is not connected with monasteries or any religions. He also has had guidance from several Gurus (especially Sri Ramakant Maharaj) and Lamas (especially Chogyal Namkhai Norbu) during his life. His studies and practice was continuous all his life, in order to deepen his understanding and to keep his teachings alive and inspired. He loves the teachings of Buddha, Longchenpa, Jesus Christ, Sri Ramana Maharshi and Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Some of his greatest inspirations and influences are the ancient wisdom of Advaita Vedanta, Ribhu Gita, Ashtavakra Gita, Avadhoota Gita, Bhagavad Gita, the Diamond Sutra and Heart Sutra of Buddha and Longchenpa’s Teachings. In the past he also studied, practiced and taught, among other, Hatha, Surya-Sun, Tantra and Kundalini Yoga and the modalities of Reiki, EFT and Pranic Healing. Since 2012, he did not feel he needed any more practice and IT was something that he just knew. He is permanently convinced in the recognition that there Is Only Brahman-Awareness-Rigpa and Abides As That.
Satchitananda knows absolutely that the True and Real Guru/Teacher is within:
